presidential postcards

My solo show at the Phoenix Experimental Arts Festival, Feedback, took place soon after the transition of presidential power. The exhibit centerpiece, Presidential Postcards, featured an 8 foot long drawing of George W. Bush at his farewell press conference. The image is interfered with; lines drawn and etched into a Styrofoam surface render the effect of a broadcast degraded by noise and static. Viewers were invited to post a goodbye message to 'W'. Over the course of the exhibition, the drawing transformed into a bulletin board.
